[asterisk-users] Strange audio problem with Digium Wildcard B410

Hi,

we are using Asterisk 1.6.0.22 on Ubuntu 9.04 together with a Digium
Wildcard B410 and dahdi-linux-complete-2.2.0+2.2.0.

Internal calls between hard- and softphone are no problems.

When I call the asterisk with my cell phone and choose an extension
where PLAYBACK() plays tt-monkeys, I can hear the monkeys.

But when I call the following extension, the text is recorded, but I do
not hear what playback plays:

         exten => 9216992,1,ANSWER()
         exten => 9216992,2,WAIT(2)
         exten => 9216992,3,RECORD(weihnachten08:alaw,5,30)
         exten => 9216992,4,WAIT(1)
         exten => 9216992,5,PLAYBACK(weihnachten08)
         exten => 9216992,6,HANGUP()

I haev used alaw, wav, gsm and WAV, same result: file is created, but I
hear nothing:

rw-r--r--  1 root     root       8160 2010-03-14 15:53 weihnachten08.alaw
-rw-r--r--  1 root     root       1683 2010-03-14 15:46 weihnachten08.gsm
-rw-r--r--  1 root     root      16364 2010-03-14 15:50 weihnachten08.wav
-rw-r--r--  1 root     root       1685 2010-03-14 15:52 weihnachten08.WAV

And the worst thing is:

When I use one of the softphone to call an external number, no one hears
the other!

I have a second asterisk server with the same Digium card and Asterisk
1.6.0.22 working properly. I have compared the configurations more than
once, but cannot find the difference or the problem.

Does anyone have an idea what might cause this strange behaviour?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Stefan
