Roy,

I just attempted to use a blank CTLSEP(mac).tlv file with my Cisco 7971G-GE
and it would not complete booting. The message log shows that the when the
phone finds the blank CTLSEP(mac).tlv file it says "CTL update failed",
retries two more times, then the status line shows "Configuring IP" then the
log shows "File Auth Fail : CTFFile.tlv". Looks to me like it is possibly
searching for another file, any ideas?

Glenn
