Yes agreed,
In this case my only intention was to acknowledge the fact that I
realized I was asking a 3rd time and hopefully not nagging to hard.
I could have worded that better and sorry for rubbing you the wrong way on
this!

Is it not reasonable because Asterisk does not do it and with utmost
certainty never will?

This is hard to follow....
I'm not at all looking for "100% exact behavior of a key system"
I like Aterisk how it works and what it does.
I am very new with Asterisk (3 months now) and am very pleased with what
it does.

I simply am looking for more information on how to make it work
with the phones that can do 'multi-line appearance functions' 'similar' to
a key system and looking for real answers as to can it will it or won't
it?

Some of the SIP phones have this 'feature' So (again) I am looking for
more information on how to actually use this feature and looking to see
if Asterisk will ever do this at all or not as this is still unclear.
