[Asterisk-Users] Type of T1 for T100P card

I agree...T1's in Asterisk do RBS (like E&M for example), T1, PRI,
etc. You can even have it emulate regular loop start lines and push
them through a standard channel bank and it will just use ls
signalling. It is all in how you configure the channels in zaptel and
zapata.
