In your extensions.conf you can try using the "t" option on the Dial
app.. so somthing like this..

exten => 1234,1,Dial(SIP/1234,10,t)

Where 10 is the timeout and "t" is the option to enable the # key to
perform a transfer ( you may want to add "T" as well)..
