Hi,

The following part of your log:

Fast carrier up
Ouch ... error while writing audio data: : Broken pipe
Ouch ... error while writing audio data: : Broken pipe
Floating point exception

would seem to indicate some problem with the libaudiofile on your 
machine. I guess libaudiofile must be installed, or you wouldn't even 
get that stuff in the log.
