while yes it is ceaper tha a ATA, it is only half of an ATA. To compare
apples to apples would require you get 2 of those VG-100TAs, at a cost
of $178USD+VAT compared to the ~$170. Sounds pretty close. As to the
comparison to the TDM10B, The TDM set up is priced to be cheaper per
port when fully deployed. Example 4 ports of TDM is $305, or $76.25 per
port. Even at 3 ports for $245, you get a per port cost of $81.67. All
of thee numbers below the cost of the VG100TA, and is a better option
for asterisk development.
