[Asterisk-Users] E400P and 2 X100P working, but not together

Doesn't seem to work.

With a working config for an X100P, uncomment the following lines in
zaptel.conf:

span=1,1,0,esf,hdb3,crc4
dchan=2-33

That's the only changes I have made. Now when I try to load wcfxo with
modprobe
I get an error which you said I may still get:

ZT_SPANCONFIG failed on span 1: Invalid argument (22)
/lib/modules/2.4.18-14/misc/wcfxo.o: post-install wcfxo failed
/lib/modules/2.4.18-14/misc/wcfxo.o: insmod wcfxo failed

But then, upon loading asterisk I get to following error:

  == Parsing '/etc/asterisk/zapata.conf': Found
WARNING[8192]: File chan_zap.c, Line 576 (zt_open): Unable to specify
channel 1:
 No such device or address
ERROR[8192]: File chan_zap.c, Line 4727 (mkintf): Unable to open channel

WARNING[8192]: File loader.c, Line 299 (ast_load_resource): chan_zap.so:

dule failed, returning -1
WARNING[8192]: File loader.c, Line 394 (load_modules): Loading module

o failed!

This tells me that the wcfxo module didn't actually pick up the card
correctly.
I didn't change anything else (yet) apart from the two lines above, and
I havn't
eveb tried to load the tor2 module. So from what I can gather, having
lines in
zaptel.conf that the module doesn't understand seems to prevent it from
working.

Is this correct? By design purhaps? I'm lost as what to try next.

Jamie Carl

This all depends on the order you wish to have the channels appear.

I'd say if you don't have a fully deployed E400P, then put it last so as
to keep the ports all together when you deploy them later.

So, make your X100P channel 1, and configure it like you had before.
Then your E400P channels start at channels 2-33. Since you are using 2
types of drivers, you may see an error after loading the first driver.
You may even want to run ztcfg after you load the second driver just to
be sure they all get configed right.
