Hi all,
I am new to the list and have been watching this thread.
I have installed asterisk and have been testing it with
a normal analog phone.
We are moving in a month and at that time I will employ
asterisk as our PBX which means I need to buy all new
phones.
I have a power touch 390 on it's way to test the ASDI
features.
1) My question is, what phones are recommended. Advantages
vs disadvantages. I like the Idea of an IP phone, but they
are expensive.
2) Also, is anyone currently using asterisk
in a call center type of environment? I want to be able
to pass a call to a phone AND some information (possibly
a URL) to that persons computer.
Thank you all for doing such a GREAT job!!!
