BTW: while I try to make zaptel-helper as portable as sanely-possible,
it seems that it will not work everywhere: it seems that no shell
currently in use on the Blackfin Linux port supports functions. So
zaptel-helper will fail there.

Anybody aware of a decent workaround/fix?
