[Asterisk-Dev] G.729 or G.729A codec

Hi,
I have question regarding asterisk G.729 support.

I have checked the asterisk code, It looks like G.729 is NOT support, But
G.729A is supported by Asterisk. Is this correct?

I have seen couple of request for H.323 connections, that H.323 capability
negotiation fails with G.729.
But it works using the G.729A codec.

Is G.729 & G.729A are different?

Can I use G.729A codec, when remote end ask for G.729 capability?
