Telephony Asterisk Application Developer 

Responsibilities 

. Design and develop custom telephony applications for Asterisk 
. Design and create custom telephony specifications 
. Build and manage statistical reporting engine 
. Create large scaleable conference bridging applications 
. Manage billing and network management issues 
. Demonstrate professional maturity and flexibility by working with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines. 
. Demonstrate attention to detail, ensuring excellent code quality and documentation 

Requirements 

. At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with Asterisk 
. Understanding of telephony technologies such as VoIP, IVRs, audio formats essential 
. At least 3+ years experience with Perl, PHP 
. Linux experience essential 
. SQL database skills (MySQL preferred) 
. Familiarity with Open Source Environments 
. Self motivated, highly proactive and reliable. Team player. Ability to excel under pressure. 
. Experience with software development methodology, source code control, bug tracking system. 
. BS/MS Computer Science or equivalent. 
. WinDoze certification a disadvantage for this position. 
. Candidates will already have legal status to work in the US
