Hi

I was wondering why is there a need to run ztcfg to "configure" a span
of an X100P or a TDM400P card. Assuming[*] that kewlstart signalling is
used, what information is missing to "configure" the span at span
registration time?

If so: why is the span left "unconfigured"?

[*] Naturally this is not always the case. Not the case in my PBX, so
I'll have to consider ways around it. But still...
