Please learn to trim unecessary portions of your mail.

Also go look into the the -cvs list.

To split new dev work from stable work, search for russelb.

Probably wouldn't be a bad thing to subscribe to the -cvs list. It
usually is low volume, and only a small handful of people are making
commits to the tree. Only those commits make it into the list. 

I use the -cvs list as essentially the final say as to what direction
the official tree is heading. It also lets you get a feel for when
something in a channel driver or technology you use is changing.
