So then, you are saying that if a "little guy" does manage to produce a
new and better algorithm it is then fair for the "big guys" to ignore
the patent laws and exploit the "little guy's" work, as it is fair for
the "little guy" to exploit the work of the "big guy."

At what point do the courts decide you are a big or little guy? What
about the regular and husky size guys?
