I don't have experience with WombatDialer, but I use QueueMetrics heavily.  It's
excellent software and the developers are top notch.

I'd give the free license for 2 channels a try.  If it fits your needs, you may
find that paying a bit for a solution that just works is cheaper in the long run
than implementing it yourself, especially if you're not already familiar with
all of the software involved.
