And yes freeswitch , that i can vouch for, even if it can have dumps... We
roll/ 5 SER's with 8 freeswitch boxes running 500-700 channels each in
redundant modes, with 2 of the FS for inbound only,
Never had any problems , SER is made for it, but thats just us.. whatever
you use is fine with me, not trying to start a war here,

I was wondering the same thing. We've setup plenty of clustered
environments based on Asterisk/Freeswitch without a hitch. Asterisk
standalone should never need to be rebooted providing its the only major
application using any type of resources. The only thing I could think of
that would cause an Asterisk machine to need to be rebooted is running some
out of the box solution like Trixbox (gah!?!) or Elastix with a ton of
additional unnecessaries running.

That is because you assume that a business would base everything on 1-2
servers and would run everything on Asterisk.
Is that how ContactTel works?

Always makes me laugh..
Rebooting a server takes at least 120 seconds.. that's 2 minutes out of 3600
breaking any sla out there, asterisk needs a kick in the chin every 24 hours
to clear its head of nasty thoughts ( leaks , etc)
That's why a part from voicemail , i wouldn't count on it, not that it
hasn't been done, I'm sure people can fall out the sky without chutes and
survive, but still
No one in their right mind would sign or commit to any SLA running an open
source platform that is beta, the 1.6.x that is..

Hi
Is there some renowned carrier who can provide us with DIDs in UK,
Australia, Japan and other countries and can commit to 99.x SLA?
I have seen voxbone but was wondering if there is anyone who provides that.
We are talking about some emergency DIDs whcih should be up most of the
times.
Thanks.
