John Scully

I agree with you.

When SunRocket went out we had 3 customers cancel there VOIP PBX installs bids do to the term VOIP

And I can't or my T1-PRI providers can talk them back into the having the bids down

I was told by the customers that they don't want to loss money do to VOIP service going under
Never mind that we were going to use PRI's not VOIP Providers

That is what I was talking about the term "VOIP" is getting pulled down with the top dog providers going
under like SunRocket and Vonage getting sued and any other BAD things that may hit the newsstand
with the term "VOIP" in it.

Now try to tell a customer that is going to spend $10,000 to $150,000 on a "VOIP PBX SYSTEM" that
the system does not need to use "VOIP" Provides for its telcom service.

That is way we don't use the term "VOIP PBX" anymore it is now a "HYBRID PHONE SYSTEM"
We are working on changing all of our ads to state "HYBRID PHONE SYSTEMS"

That is what Asterisk is a "Hybrid System" keep in mind everyone POTS, FXO, PRI, ETC. are not "VOIP".

Best regards,

Al Bochter
