[asterisk-biz] Slightly OT - Covad VOA

We have a T1 with Covad and I never heard of this product. At one time
Covad did call me and try to sell me on their VOIP product that works with
my data T1, but after some research they said I was not a suitable candidate
(I forgot the reason). I mentioned Asterisk to the technical guys and they
had no clue what it was.
So, my question is: Is this the same thing as their VOIP that they were
trying to sell about 1 year ago?

Two things:
1) This is a real T1 loop and not something pushed over SDSL on a copper
pair? That is so important because the telco has to fix a T1 but when
the copper pair does not work for dsl provider has to order a new loop
and hope it works.
2) Is there a good SLA that goes with this?
