Hello,

Including all 5 geographic locations our company has a call-center capacity
of 208 seats across 10 Asterisk servers. We use T1s for Telco connectivity
and we use IAX2 to connect between servers. All of the inbound/outbound
calling is handled by astGUIclient suite and all of the agents use VICIDIAL
for all call handling and to launch our CRM/Sales web site for each call. We
use a single MySQL server as the datastore for the CRM and a separate MySQL
server for the astGUIclient suite as it interacts with Asterisk. We can do:
- call-recording
- remote blind monitoring across servers
- the inbound calls are run through VICIDIALs ACD/call-queue(calls are sent
to a voicemail box after a defined wait time)
- Outbound predictive dialing capability
- web-based reporting
- web or phone based recording retrieval
- a lot of other features

Contact me off-list if you have any questions,

MATT---

Stories

I'm looking for feedback from anyone who has Asterisk running a 200+
seat call center.

My company is considering moving from their legacy PBX system to
Asterisk, but is hesitant to do so without some evidence that Asterisk
can scale to this size. All I need are some simple "Yes, we are
operating under this scenario," messages, but if you would like to
provide any additional information such as hardware configurations and
call center applications (queuing/ACD, reporting, database integration,
etc.) that you are running it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Matthew Roth
