Other than the comments left by the previous poster regarding the
inapropriate advert your company is attching to you mail

I am in the process of building for a 10 day event a similar size and
scope asterisk deployment for a charity.

It can scale this high and works well, assuming you dimention the
astersik box(es) correctly, and understand this is no picnic in terms
of a learning curve.  Its cost of ownership can at times far outweigh
any inital percevied benifits.

Once that curve is over however - it can be a very elegent solution to
more than just your voice needs.

Its not impossible, but its a large commitment.
