I do not know about Zambia but I worked in Kenya who also was a British
colony. My only advise can be: patience. African nations have built
their telephone systems on whatever they can get for cheap. This means
that some areas will have equipment from Japan, others from UK, Sweden,
etc. Because of this what works in an area may not work in another
within the same city!
