[asterisk-users] Zambia Africa

I am working with an Asterisk user in Zambia Africa who cant get any 
info on his lines from his telco. One guy says its reverse polarity 
another said the telephone system was established by the Japanese. We 
are assuming UK as this is/was a UK colony. Anyone familiar with the 
region and know what may need to be done to get asterisk working. The 
telco will not seem to accept the fact he wants to call out... We are 
going to take some line measurements and dig in to the fundamentals  I 
am just looking to see if someone has opened this can of worms before.
