[Asterisk-Users] ADT/Brinks alarm dialing through Asterisk

I would stick with POTS over using the internet. With
the internet there are more points of failure (IMO).
As far as people cutting the wires we have both. We
have a reg. pots line and a prepaid cell phone
connected in for backup.
