[Asterisk-Users] set local area code

Use a line like this in your dialplan.  I'll post a sample out of mine.

exten => _NXXXXXX,1,Dial,IAX2/${USER}@${PROVIDER}/1780${EXTEN}

That line is setup so any 7 digit numbers will be marked as belonging to 
1-780.
