[Asterisk-Users] Asterisk@Home and intermittent ring sound on callers end

I have asterisk at Home connected to broadvoice. Intermittently, when a call is placed to my asterisk box, the caller sometimes does not hear the ringing tone, but just silence. Although the call is going through. On the asterisk end, the phones ring, but the ringing tones in the callers phone is absent, they just get silence. However if the caller does wait long enough for me to pick up my end, the call does go though.
 
Any suggenstions?
