I had the same problem when I moved * from one system to another
trying to identify/reduce issues wtih the TDM-fxo card. Called
digium and received a small amount of run-around until I couphed
up the original GUID string (or whatever that thing is). Then it
wouldn't register at all, so digium logged into the system and
claimed to execute the exact command string I had been doing, and
it worked. Go figure.

That entire registration process sort of sucks.

I originally wanted to use the g729 with a remote 7960 that had 
some bandwidth issues, but the link quality was sufficiently poor
that it seemingly impacted g729 more then g711. Running g711 now.
Kind of handy to have g729 around for some testing though.
