[Asterisk-Users] TE410P E1 Red Alarm

Pure guess...
The red alarm is essentially suggesting there is no signal coming into the
port. By signal I mean the low level pcm data & clocking seen on any T1/E1
that is connected to a remote T1/E1 port (regardless of whether that device
has been turned up for service or not).
Possible causes...
- might need a T1/E1 crossover cable (not the same as an ethernet crossover,
but crossed pins have been published many times on this list and documented
in the wiki)
- your provider may still have a loopback on some of their equipment, which
essentially disconnects their signals from your equipment
- service provider may not have actually turned up your T1/E1 for use as yet
- bad T1/E1 cable between your TE410P and their demarc
- bad port(s) on your TE410P (although very unlikely)
- wiring problems (maybe the telco terminated the T1/E1's incorrectly or in
the wrong place)
