Remember to check the timing in zaptel.conf. You want to take timing from
span 1 at priority 1 and from span 2 at priority 2. That way during normal
operation you will receive timing from the pstn and provide it to the
meridian. If the Asterisk box is disconnected from the pstn it will take
timing from the meridian since that is presumably more accurate.
It may be that you want to provide timing to the meridian even when
disconnected from the pstn. In that case change the setting to match.
