[Asterisk-Users] Asterisk and other codecs

Hi all,
I am new to Asterisk and just downloaded and compiled the code.  We have 
custom SIP client that currently supports only EVRC.  I would like to setup 
SIP calls using Asterisk and this client.  Is it possible have Asterisk 
negotiate any other codecs other than what is included?  If so, how should 
do this?
