Daniel, thanks for your support on this

have been thorough opencall.org and am unable to see the issues i am
experiencing documented

i have extracted the messages logged to the asterisk console as i receive
fax - i don't know if you are able to debug further from this data;

slow carrier up / down / up

TSI ....

TSI with final frame tag

Remote fax gave TSI as "+44 23 8022 5530"

DCS ..

In state 9

DCS

Can receive fax

selected signalling data rate: V29, 9600 bps

scan line length: 215 mm

recording length: A4 (297 mm)

Minimum scan line time : 10 ms

Minimum scan line time for higher resolutions: T15.4 = T7.7

Get at 9600

changed from phase 3 to 5

fast carrier up / down / up

coarse carrier frequency 1443.81 (4)

fast carrier down
