[Asterisk-Users] BudgeTone 100 & Call Transfer

Steve,

I believed that during my trials I tried that but it didn't work. Basically,
I hit TRANSFER, got a dial tone, dialed the other party's extension and it
began to rang. Once they picked up, I hit transfer again. I cant remember if
it took me back to the original call, or just dropped the call altogether.
Either way, it didn't work.

Do the phones require any special setup in the confs?

thanks,

Marco

Press transfer, then dial extension and press transfer again (not flash) I
dont even include the # option in any of my implementations because it
screws up DTMF based IVR systems. I was once trying to get an SSL cert and
had much difficulty because I was required to press # and * wanted to
transfer the call.

Blind transfer can be achieved by just hitting # and the number you wish to
transfer to.

How did you lose the call? Did you hit Flash again or Transfer to complete
the action?

Subject: [Asterisk-Users] BudgeTone 100 & Call Transfer

Hello all,

Does anyone know how to successfully transfer a call using the GrandStream
Budgetone 100 phones? I've read multiple posts talking about hitting flash,
the dialing, then flash again, etc. Some posts talk about using the transfer
button, then dial, then flash.

Anyways, it seems that I am able to put the caller on hold (whereas they
hear hold music) by pressing flash or transfer. Then, I am able dial another
extension, and start talking to them.

Where I run into trouble is when I try to connect both parties, and take
myself out of the mix. All of my attempts have led to dropped calls.

Any suggestions/Advice would be appreciated.

-Marco
