The GrandStreams should transfer just fine by using the "Transfer" button on the phone. The GrandStream uses SIP REFER, but doesn't have support for REPLACES so it can't do attended transfers (YET)...

It's a patch that allows attended/supervised transfer using the # key. It also allows you to define the transfer key so it can be something other than '#' or it can even be double '##'.
