That many 'strove valiantly' have nothing to do with others who don't. It just 
shows some do and others don't. I'm not a tiniest bit hysterical either, 
though you could say it would be a drastic response by whoever.

On the other hand SCO was not supposed to be able to pull their kind of BS 
either. But some a/holes got together and did it anyway. Much to the expense 
of many.

You may doubt it as much as you want, but patent law clearly covers someone 
making up their own version of s/w and distributing. 

Ditto with ISP's sharing responsible for violations of their customers. So 
there's nothing new there either. Any ISP with legal representation are aware 
of that one.

Don't get me wrong I'd rather not see it, but as someone who used to build 
ISP's for a living, I've had to have awareness of a few legalities.
