I may be wrong, but the push for fedora any version is for the desktop
user. A desktop user is willing to put up with the occasional reboot. An
occasional hiccup is less than they currently experience with Windows.
With that in mind it can shoot for more bleeding edge code and doesn't
have to follow the stringent quality guidlines that is essential for any
other mission critical application.
If you are making a show car, you don't always worry about how well the
gas milage will end up, it is all about the pretties.
