I just wanted to followup on this issue.
1) The reboots with callwaiting on where a result of using an older version of
the unidenmac file from a previous firmware.
2) There is still an issue even with 4.59a with callwaiting off and the message
lamp that will also cause the phone to reboot. If you turn off call waiting and
the message light, and don't use a mailbox= line in sip.conf the reboots are
pretty rare.
3) By using the advice below I think I have the problem resolved with the
message light on and callwaiting on and managing call flow with the checkgroup
setgroup combo.
I also want to say that Uniden was pretty quick to respond to me on this issue.
I couldn't get through at all via the standard support number, but call the
number listed in the initial Press release got me to the correct people. Uniden
seems to have an * test system and they were willing to attempt to duplicate the
problem by using my configs. So there is at least some awareness at Uniden that
people are using this on *.
