I am just checking that right now, and NO, asterisk is not loading
chan_zap.c... this is the error message:
== Parsing '/etc/asterisk/zapata.conf': Found
Sep 15 17:06:03 WARNING[16384]: chan_zap.c:765 zt_open: Unable to
specify channel 1: No such device or address
Sep 15 17:06:03 ERROR[16384]: chan_zap.c:5894 mkintf: Unable to open
channel 1: No such device or address
here = 0, tmp->channel = 1, channel = 1
Sep 15 17:06:03 ERROR[16384]: chan_zap.c:8798 setup_zap: Unable to
register channel '1'
Sep 15 17:06:03 WARNING[16384]: loader.c:328 ast_load_resource:
chan_zap.so: load_module failed, returning -1
== Unregistered channel type 'Tor'

Sep 15 17:06:03 WARNING[16384]: loader.c:423 load_modules: Loading
module chan_zap.so failed!
dhcp-1110-4728:/etc/asterisk # Ouch ... error while writing audio data:
: Broken pipe
This is the content in my zapata.conf
[channels]
signalling=fxs_ks
language=en
context=default
channel => 1
And this is the content of the zaptel.conf which seems to be ok since I
run /sbin/ztcfg and it executes with no errors...
fxsks=1
loadzone=es
defaultzone=us
Thanks for your reply,
