[Asterisk-Users] X-Lite from Home

Hi,

I'm having a few issues with X-Lite from home. Setup is as follows:

Asterisk --- Work Router ---(internet)--- Home Router --- Home Pc with
X-Lite

The router at work has a port forward to 5060 on the asterisk ip. X-Lite
then connects to the server through this port, it can log in and sometimes
it will work fine. I have the latest cvs version of asterisk, with two zap
pstn channels.

Problems we get are:
1. sometimes asterisk does not seem to recognise that the X-Lite client has
hung up the channel, and so keeps it running. Plus asterisk will not then do
"soft hangup" on the channel
2. X-lite calls a phone at work but the phone never rings, instead asterisk
says its calling but does nothing. X-Lite hangs up but asterisk keeps the
channel going.

We are wondering if its something to do with missing packets over the
internet not getting from X-Lite to asterisk and vice-versa.

Hope you can help, if not the warning is out there now!
