Yes - it would help if the subscription system told you about how to
first check the mailing lists and the wiki (which really works well at
times)...

From what I've seen on the mailing lists - if it takes 3 or 4 rings
before an answer - you are probably not getting any caller-ID - thus the
system is timing out from looking and then answering..
Tips:
Look in your /var/log/asterisk/cdr-csv/Master.csv file ('tail -f' it ?)
and see whats written there... Mine looks like...
"","8070590","t","default","8070590","Modem[i4l]/ttyI0","SIP/phone1-99c2","Dial","SIP/phone1|20|Ttr","2004-05-03 18:26:19","2004-05-03 18:26:20","2004-05-03 18:27:11",52,51,"ANSWERED","DOCUMENTATION"
...where 8070590 is the number I called from....
To test whether you get caller ID - stick a working device on the line
that you know will show Caller-ID - and see if that works...???
You are in the USA? - then CLID should 'appear' after the first ring..
You are elsewhere in the world ? - then you might be outa luck.. switch
off CLID detection (for analogue lines).
