[Asterisk-Users] Asterisk w/ Netmeeting?

Hi all,

I'm new to the list and want to play with VoIP.  I'm thinking rather than 
dropping $$$ for a telephony card I could use NetMeeting/Gnomemeeting to talk 
to Asterisk.

Netmeeting is a complient H.232 client.  This would allow me to transfer 
"calls" to/from my wife and friends on the internet.  It could also allow us 
to receive long distance calls from friends and family.

Is it as good as it sounds?
