[asterisk-r2] RES: Take a long time to dial .

Compared to ISDN, R2 is very slow to complete the dialing process.
If you enable debug, you can 'see' the dialing process and the digits being
sent.

There is no way to tune it because that is the way the protocol R2 is.

  Hi guys ,

  I'm using asterisk 1.6 with dahdi 2.3.0.1 and openR2 1.2.0 .

  Everithing is working quite fine . The only situation that is not so good
it's the time to dial outside . When we dial PSTN , asterisk take around 10
seconds to start ringing . I don't know if it's an issue of my versions of
asterisk , dahdi and openR2  ...

   Is there any setting that i can setup to tuning the dialing ?
