Running cvs head from July 11 on FC3 box with one TDM04b card and
multiple iax2 registrations.
Asterisk hung. An incoming pstn call showed:
-- Starting simple switch on 'Zap/4-1'
Jul 12 09:27:59 NOTICE[16531]: chan_zap.c:5759 ss_thread: Got event 2 (Ring/Answered)...
-- Executing NoOp("Zap/4-1", "") in new stack
-- Executing Dial("Zap/4-1", "SIP/3000&SIP/3001|15") in new stack

The incoming call on zap/4 did _not_ ring the sip phones shown.
The above should have shown about 19 sip peers and 3 iax2 registry
entries.
Top did not indicate any high usage apps, nor did asterisk even show
up on the top display.
A 'stop now' from the remote console (telnet) hung. Started another
remote console (asterisk -rvvvvvvvv) on the asterisk machine and
issued a stop now. That did in fact stop asterisk. Restarted
asterisk with 'safe_asterisk' and its now running fine.
No hints in /var/log/asterisk/messages. Last entry was from 21:52
last night; most likely when the system hung. (No hints in any
other log either.)
Also, show version indicates:
Asterisk CVS-HEAD built by root at phoenix on a i686 running Linux on 2005-07-11
12:48:40
while the compile was actually done at:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 5196 Jul 11 07:49 ulaw.o
In other words, the clock time shown in show version is totally
unrelated to compile time, asterisk start time, or any other time
that I've been able to recognize. (No big deal, but no value.)
Looks like something unusal is lurking!
