[Asterisk-video] High resolution video - Softphone

PVX works nicely with Asterisk in terms of registration and calling. I need to work some on the handling of the video RTP payload type though. I think if I took the time to compile in the much talked about video fixes, it will work as expected. Someday when time allows...
I've also had *great* results with Mirial's video softphone on my Asterisk. Mirial's current product offers HD resolutions but I have not been able to test that version, my Mirial is quite old. Like anything PC related, your camera and system performance dictate the overall experience.

Are you referring to polycom or lifesize client?
Lifesize supports SIP for sure. It is installed on my desktop.
PVX is VGA resolution. It appears to support SIP as well.

That last one doesn't seem to be able to use a server, so i guess it
wont work with SIP or asterisk.
I wonder how the pvx phone works, its probably also p2p. Does it work
with SIP ?
