I understood that part, I was hoping to understand why. In the past, I've used the PSTN lines to connect two Asterisk systems for extension to extension calls and was able to route source and destination extensions via the dial-plan, just by parsing the assigned CID. Was thinking that may be what you were also trying to accomplish. Doug
