[asterisk-users] Audio Files

Hi people, 
What can I use to transfer the audio files to and from Asterisk?
I was searching and I found the following commands:
PUT SOUNDFILE and GET SOUNDFILE 
They are new commands of AGI, but is there another way to do that?
