[asterisk-users] Asterisk 1.4 vs 1.6

Hi,

 

I was wondering whether there are any problems with v1.6 which means I
should avoid it.

 

What are the advantages of upgrading?

And finally, why both versions are available? Why not just scrap 1.4?
