[asterisk-users] Door Phone

Hi there,
I'm new to this list, so sorry if this has already been asked before
[hopefully this is the correct list too!].

I'm in the process of building my asterisk system. I've set up a CentOS
machine, together with Cisco 7912 phone over SIP. I can make and receive
calls from outside over my TDM400 card [2 FXO ports], everything works fine.
My next project is to integrate or rebuild an intercom system which would
let me answer whoever rings the bell from over my SIP enabled phones. During
a recent refurbishment I've already laid cat5e cable all around my home, all
of the cabling was then patched over a patch panel in a central location (my
server sits there); so preferably I would need to used cat5e, since I've
already prepared 2 points near my door.

My current video intercom would consist of something basic like this [
http://www.swann.com.au/images/hires/dwm.jpg]. My idea is to leave the
current system there, but still have audio going to asterisk, and being able
to send an open door command from asterisk. Since I'me not getting video
phones, I would like to leave the option of the current video intercom as it
is.

Can someone please point me to what I need to get and in a generic point
form [no need to write a full how-to] let me know what I need to do.

Kind Regards,

FiNKu
