[asterisk-users] FreeRadius or A2Billing , which is the better choice of Asterisk for billing?

now, i learn the  freeradius for asterisk. one thing i can't understand is
that when a call start , is Asterisk send cdr to

radius automatic or need to fetch the cdr from radius? if you can tell me
some docs relates to the configuration or principle

of freeradius for asterisk. it's very kind of you! i searched in google. but
seems very few pages about this.
