[asterisk-users] Help With AMI

I am trying to get updateconfig working.

I found an example of updating configuration files here:

ateConfig

When I tried it the conf file was updated but the new entry was not added.

action:updateconfig
reload:no
srcfilename:manager.conf
dstfilename:manager.conf
Action-000000:append
Cat-000000:newuser
Var-000000:secret
Value-000000:nottelling

I have searched various web sites and mail lists but I can not find very
much documentation about how the updateconfig action is to work.

Can anyone point me to additional documentation in addition to offering some
ideas as to why the above transaction might not work.
