Hi Balu,

http://www.digitemp.com/ has all the info you need. Cost of hardware 
around US$70. Will give you pretty fridge temperature graphs too!
You can easily hack some of Brian's scripts to do different levels of 
temp alarm and trigger calls in Asterisk.
